I have a user that just had his system reloaded just recently. Word
was installed as part of a the office 2003 install.
Word has not operated since the machine was redone. all the other
office products seem to work. (only tried excel and that had a problem
but now seems to work fine once a check mark was removed).
The problem is that when the user opens up word it sits there for a
second then comes up and says that there was a problem and that i can
send it to microsoft or not. If i choose to view the details this is
briefly what it states.
Microsoft office word has deteced a problem with your installation of
the produce. Repairing or reinstalling it may correct the problem.

now i have done several things.
uninstalled and reinstalled. no go
Being as this install was pulled and is administered per group. i
loged on as another user and installed it per that user. No go.
i deleted the normal.dot. no go
i created a local user and logged in with ad min rights installed the
program per that person. still no go.
I have put on a reg cleaner to hoping to clean it up .. but once again
no go..
sadness. can some one point me a direction where i might obtain some
answers.
