Word 2003 CTRL+V (paste) problem

All of a sudden when I go to paste text into a word document from another
source (i.e. the internet) the Word document freezes.

Why??

How can I correct this problem?

When pasting into Word, try using Edit | Paste Special | Paste as:
Unformatted text.
