I'm running Office 2003 Professional (fully patched and updated) on Windows
XP Professional (also fully patched and updated) and I've run into a snag.
The problem manifests itself as follows:
1) Open Word.
2) Select "Tools -> Letters & Mailings -> Envelopes & Labels"
3) Click on the "Insert Address" icon above the Delivery Address text box
4) In the "Choose Profile" dialog, click the "New" button
5) Select "Manually configure information services" and click "Next"
6) In the Windows Messaging System Setup Wizard, select the default profile
name ("Windows Messaging Settings") and click "Next"
After step 6, I receive the following error message:
The following unrecoverable erro has occurred:
The .DLL file for this service is either damaged or could not be found.
I get this message on other computers as well. The common thread being that
all are fully updated and patched versions of Windows XP and they have fully
updated and patched versions of Office.
How can I determine which .DLL file is either damaged or missing?
Thanks in advance.
