Word 2003 error message after lauching

I get an error message after launching microsoft word
2003. The message says "Microsoft Visual Basic run time
error '9'. Subscript out of range". I then get an option
to end or cancel. After selecting end, the program opens.
I can then use the program without a problem. It looks
like word is looking for a program or file that is not
present any longer. Can someone tell how to correct this
problem? I have reinstalled office 2003 two times, and
this action has not solve the problem. Thanks in advance
for your help.

I looked in the start up for word and the program has no
files in the start up.

Okay, so you read item 4(a). Did you read items 4(b) and 4(c)?
