I've just upgraded from Office XP to Office 2003 and have encountered a bit of a problem. When installation
had finished I opened Word only to be confronted with the following error:
"Microsoft Office Word can't display the template used in this document.
Microsoft Office Word cannot install the necessary files due to Windows Installer error 1605.
This action is only valid for products that are currently installed."
I search the Microsoft website and found instructions for Word XP (2002) on how to rectify the problem
(movijng templates in the Word/Statrup folder etc), however it has not worked for me. Can anyone shed any more
light on what I could do.
