In MS Word 2003, how can I access the Lucida Sans Demibold Roman font? It is
in the font file in Control Panel, but not the the Word font drop down menu.

Apply Lucida Sans and format it as Bold. Fonts in the Fonts folder represent
font "families." A full "family" will include roman or "Regular," bold,
italic, and bold italic variants of the font. Only the "regular" version is
shown in Word's font list. The rest are applied using the Bold, Italic, and
Bold+Italic properties. If you look in the Font dialog, you'll see that in
fact these variants are listed under Font style. For Lucida Sans, the list
includes Demibold Roman.
