Word 2003 hangs a lot...

We recently upgraded from Office 2000 to Office 2003 (uninstalled O2K completely then installed Office 2K3) and I'm getting several complaints about word hanging up on people as well as verifying it in their systems event viewers as it shows fault buckets and application hang error events pertaining to word. it seems to happen most when people try to print or save a document.

I've seen the articles pertaining to antivirus as well as printer drivers and suggestiongs of detect and repair but none have worked or have been non-applicable (like the antivirus one, the office plugin isn't installed).

What else could this be?

crap, so does excel according to some users - whats up with this? Months of testing 2003 here and on a few production systems and no problems at all. I deploy it and my phone won't stop ringing whats the deal?
