Word 2003 hangs !!

Hello

I realized that in XP series there is a serois error that hang Word. About
the printer I have spoken with some people of microsoft and they suggested
me to install as default a virtual printer. So, I tried this, but,..., it
doesn´t work, of course if I open "old" word files.

any othe ideas ? It could be a virus, because each time I look at the
ectraction of the stacker, I can read there things that don´t belong to the
file structure.

If you will have any farther idea don´t hesitate !

Are you running Norton Antivirus, if so, disable the "Office Plug in" in the
Options of Norton Antivirus.

Word does need a local printer driver installed. But for help diagnosing

Well , I made everyhing as described in the document you wrote me, but it
hangs again !!!!

May be is a problem of the printer , it´s a HP 1220 laserjet all-in-one.
