Word 2003 Hyperlink problem

When I click on a hyperlink, I get two of the same URL's.

I did have the crtl/click hyperlink selected and it did
when using that combo. I unchecked it and it still opens
two instances of the same URL.

It is a nuisance to close two links when done.

Anyone have a solution? Please email me too.

Could it be that you are double-clicking on the hyperlink? In Word, you only have to click once on the link to open it. If you are double-clicking the hyperlink, then that would explain why you are getting two instances of the link opening.

I wish that was the case, I am only single clicking.
