Word 2003 Hyperlinks

After viewing a hyperlink and clicking the back button, the hyperlink page
stays open so after a while I end up 10 open Word docs. How do I get the
hyperlink page to close after going back to the originating doc? thanks

Could you click the "close" button instead? Otherwise right-click at the
bottom of the screen on the icon with the name of the doc you want to clos
and then click close......
