Word 2003 Maximize problem...

D

DJ Ho Train

Well here's the configuration that I am using at home and work. Both of which
have the problem.

Home: ATI Radeon 9800 Pro AGP 1024x768 at 85hertz (CRT)
Work: ATI Radeon X300 PCI-E 1280x1024 at 60hertz (LCD)

The home on is home made whereas the work one is a dell dimension.

Is it home or work that you have the problem?

Count me as another with this issue. I notice that if I open Word, it
behaves exacltly as if it thinks it is mamimized, despite the inch or two of
real estate above it; however, if I open an existing document after the
program is up, it will revert to full screen- which makes me wonder about the
normal.dot. My graphics drivers are the latest approved for the machine, but
months old and have not changed or updated before the issue started- so
tempting as that might be, I tend to think it is not there. I do wish
someone would ring in with a fix on this. It is REALLY annoying.
