Word 2003 Normal.doc lost after upgrade

After installing the Office Professional Edition 2003
upgrade (to Office 2000 Professional), some wierd
behaviors have shown up. One is that my old normal.dot,
which had several macros I had written and the associated
toolbar I had built for these macros. Is there something
(other than doing the upgrade in the first place,
perhaps) I've done wrong.

Try searching ALL your hard drives.
Could be 2003 was installed into different directories,
