Word 2003 - not able to type

Hi! just got this prob with my word 2003. tried typing a document but the
words are not going to the next line. Instead the spaces between the words &
characters are squeezed so that everything can fit into 1 line.

When I use tab, all the characters overlap and stay at 1 space. any help
would be great!

Is this happening with all new documents you create? If so, try renaming
normal.dot and see if the problem goes away. Check here for additional
