Word 2003 - printing booklet troubles

For some reason Word does not like the middle page of my booklet - page 8 and 9.

How do I force it to print this double page? I keep trying and it prints all the pages
around these two even though I specify 8-9 in the properties print box AND I tried 8,9.

What should I be doing?

From very frustrated with Word!

Just found this:

1.. Select the page range you want to print.
If you click Current page or Pages, Word prints the page you indicate, plus the three
other pages that belong on the same sheet of paper.

If you click Selection, Word prints your selection using the default page layout instead
of booklet layout.
