Word 2003 prints gray brackets

James

When printing an unprotected document, Word 2003 prints
gray brackets around the region of text marked as
unprotected.

When turning protection back on, the gray brackets turn
yellow and do not appear when printing.

How do I leave the document unprotected ("Stop
Protection"), keep the areas of text highlighted (in
gray), and print without the gray brackets appearing on
the printed copy.

Thanks...

Hi James,

Are you printing from the Normal view, or from Page Layout?
If the Normal view, try first switching to Page Layout and
see if that helps.
