Word 2003 quits when opening a document with tables

Hi,

I use Word 2003 and it quits quickly after opening a document with tables
in it. All other documents are no problem, only those with tables in it.

I reinstalled Office 2003 which didn't work. Also a installation of Office
2000 has the same problems.

Any idea for a sollution? It's very annoying. Tnx

It sounds like the document is partially corrupt. See
http://word.mvps.org/faqs/apperrors/CorruptDoc.htm for some solutions. Also,
after all those aborts, clean out your computer: see

Ok, the problem isn't solved by following up your procedure. By the way; I
don't believe that any document is corrupted, they all seem to work on
another computer.

A last try to solve the problem was an upgrade to SP1 of Office 2003 but
also that was not the sollution.


Someone else a sollution?

Let's have all the information please. Is this just ONE document or MANY
documents. Is it just ONE computer that won't open ONE document or MANY
computers that won't open it.

Have you tried Open and Repair from Word 2003? Are you using Norton ANti
Virus?
