Word 2003 shutdown error

N

Nibbos

Word 2003 has just started supplying the following annoying dialogu
every time I shut down Word (see attached image).
I've re-installed the Office suite 3 times - I've installed Word on it
own - I've searched the Microsoft knowledgebase and tried disablin
'Allow background saves' as per their knowledgebase suggestion. N
joy...
This message appears even if I start Word then immediately shut it dow
WITHOUT even typing anything!
It's really p*****g us off here at home, particularly as it defaults t
'Recover Word document' option and needs 2 clicks to get rid of th
dialogue box.
Has anyone come across this and can offer a solution?

EDITED A BIT LATER:
It seems Kaspersky AV 4.5.0.94 has something to do with it.
I uninstalled Kaspersky and all was fine. Re-installed it and proble
re-appears. SOmething to do with Kaspersky interfering with VB
functionality, or so Microsoft WOrd is trying to tell me!

Any advice still gratefully accepted

Check this with Kapersky: they may have a patch. Make sure you tell them the
version of Word and kapersky and the patches installed.
