Word 2003 shuts down when I click Tools

When I click Tools, Word 2003 shuts down and asks to send the error report
then reopens the program, but I haven't been able to get it to work again
(and need to!). I have tried repairing it, reinstalling it, etc., but nothing
has worked. Any suggestions?
