Word 2003 Templates

I just copied my templates from my office 97 subdirectory
and put them in my Office 2003 subsdirectory and they do
not appear as templates when I try to start a new
document. Any Suggestions?

Hi Brian

In Word 2003, Tools > Options > File Locations. Note down the folder
listed for User Templates. That's where you must store the templates.

Word 2000 and above handle templates differently from Word 97 and earlier,
keeping "installed templates" (the ones that ship with Word) separate from
"user templates" (Normal.dot and other templates you create). See "OFF2000:
