WORD 2003 Title headings

I have a user that in his Word application has some kind of formatting in
the title of Documents (Bold, larger font)
An example of this is

Any Heading { TA \l "Any Heading" \s "Any Heading" \c 16 }

So it states the title 3 times.

Any ideas on what this is or how to correct it.

The part between braces is a Table of Authorities field. Hiding Hidden text
will make it go away.
