Word 2003 will not open any docs

Ever since yesterday Word will not open any saved doc. I
can start a new one and save it, but then after I close
it I cannot open it anymore. Can anyone help me? What
happens is Word pops up with a window that says "*** is
not available."

Something else that is weird is that now when I try to
close word (after saving a doc) it says that the normal
template has changed and asks if I want to save over it
or create a new template. Since I don't use templates, I
don't know why this is occurring.

Please help!

I am heaving the very same problem, since I've applied
SP3. We are running Symantec Antivirus Small Business
Edition v8.1. I ran Liveupdate and re-installed the
client. When that didnot help I disabled the client but I
still cannot open documents.
