Word 2003

II recently purchased MS Office 2003 and have installed
all available updates, including all MS Word 2003 bug
fixes.

However, MS Word 2003 seems to run unusually slow and
utilizes system resources to the point that Word and other
running applications run too slowly. This system "bog
down" occurs especially when Internet Explorer is
running. My internet connection is a DSL @ 768k.

All of my other Office 2003 programs seem to operate
satisfactorily. Please help.

I suggest that you open the Task Manager and see which application is eating
your processor. If it is Word, come back for some further advice.
