word 2003

im still trying to find out why my word is closing within seconds or a min.
of opening. ive deleted the normal template file.....but it still closes with
an error...any more suggestions? PLEASE help.....otherwise i guess i have to
go to the open office site and use their version. everything else with
office 2003 works fine. again, im running win 2000 (by choice).

yes i have. most of it has to do with word 2000, so i wasnt sure it was where
the answer might be had. i will go back and look again but as i recall it
wasnt all that helpful. im really at my wits end.
