A Word template I created in October with Word 2004 may be imported
into a Quark 4.1 document and all the styles appear normally.
Six months later, if I resave this same Word template using Word 2004,
then try to import it into Quark 4.1, the styles are garbled or come in
as question marks.
Our stopgap solution is now to open and save all Word documents with
Word 2001 to ensure a smooth pour into Quark. But my question is: What
changed? And is it something we can change back?
