When I am in Notebook format, how do I remove the header at the top? This
"header shows the title bar. Thanks

You can't! I agree that it should be an option. Use the Send Feedback
function on Word's Help menu and let MS know about it. When enough people
ask for a feature or a change, MS tends to pay attention!
