Word 2007 eps images in Word 2008

Version: 2008 Operating System: Mac OS X 10.5 (Leopard) Processor: Intel Hi Mactopia Forum,

I use Illustrator to create eps files for insertion in Word 2007 files. However in a few cases when I open the PC file in Mac 2008 some of the eps images do not display correctly.

Can anyone advise on what might be happening here? Is it something to do with the number of layers in the image?

The difference between some of the eps images from PC to Mac versions of the same word file is significant.

Thanks for any help

Hi Hazel:

Sorry, I need way more detail than that in order to even begin to help.

Currently, all I can say is "Yeah, you can make all sorts of things in
Illustrator that Mac Word 2008 can't display properly".

Generally, the rule is "keep it simple, don't get too brave, ensure you are
using the RGB colour table, and don't try to embed fonts."

Hope this helps
