I've been having this problem for several months. I'm using Word 2007 with
my Vista Home HP laptop. The problem happens when I try to close out of the
program. I can close the document I'm working on but when I try to close the
program it tells me that Word Has Stopped Working and that Microsoft will
contact me when there's an answer. The kicker is that now when I open a
document I can't use my mouse or scroller. I can't highlight words or make
corrections. The only way I've been able to fix this problem is to reformat
my computer; uninstalling/reinstalling doesn't work.
