Word 2007: how do you get rid of the comments on the right side?

My wife submitted a 1 page abstract to her bosses. When the abstract was
mailed back and she opened it in Word 2007 it was heavily commented on the
right side with all sorts of red cross outs and corrections. She would like
to take the corrected sheet and paste it into a new document without all the
commenting markup traveling with the paste over. How do you get rid of
this nonsense?

Thanks a million.

Sounds like this is revision marking.

Go to the Review ribbon and towards the right hand side is a 'Changes'
group. She can accept or reject the changes as she wants.

You can switch document revison marking on/off using Ctr/Shift/E
