Adjust an address on a fast way

I want to adjust a single address with the company name, you can do it with
"Select recipients", but isn't there a faster way to do it, because it's a
long way to do it for just one address. Does someone know a better solution
for it?

Your question is not very clear to me.

It appears you are using Word 2007

You appear to have a list of addresses with a company name. Where is
this list? Is it in Word, Outlook, Live Mail, Access, Excel????

I am not sure what Select Recipients is. It sounds like it is a
function of an E-Mail product. Is that true? Is it names and street
address for a form letter?

Are you using MS Word mail merge function? (If so you would need to
edit mail merge document (the one with the name and address information) It
has been a long time since I used this function, so I will need to do a
little research to remember the procedure.

Yes, I'm using Word 2007.
The list with the addresses are in Outlook 2007.

Select Recipients is in "Start Mail Merge".

I used that now, but that's a long way to adjust one address.

What do you mean by "adjust address"? Do you mean modify it? Select the
address for a single letter?

If the latter then perhaps the Address Book will work for you instead. By
default it's not in the Ribbon but it can be added to your Quick Access
Toolbar (QAT):

- Right-click your QAT and then click "Customize QAT"
- From the "Choose Commands From" drop down, select "Commands not in the
Ribbon"
- Locate "Address Book" and add it to your QAT

Yes, you can include the company along with other fields if you'd like. In
order to do this you need to modify an AutoText entry called AddressLayout.
Instructions on how to do this can be found in this KB Article. Note that
there are steps for Word 2007 found below the steps for the previous
versions of Word.

Thank you, that works, but if I close Word and open it again, it don't work,
only if I first insert the AddressLayout and then insert the address. Isn't
there a way to let it work for the first time?
