Word 2007 Insufficient memory or fatal disk error

Brand new Vista quadcore 4gb RAM machine running Office 2007. Working on a
major document and get Microsoft Office Word error message:

! There is insufficient memory or a fatal disk error. Word is closing the
saved document.

Document was working fine on old XP Pro machine in Office 2007. This is a
major project for me. Has happened 5 times in last 2 hours. HELP!!!!

Presuming there isn't a hardware problem, try using Open and Repair (in the
File, Open dialog, click the arrow attached tot he OPEN button).
