Word 2007 is not responding

I installed vista and office 2007 and after a while when I tried to open a
word file by dubbel clicking the file word does not respond. Does somebody
have any ide what can cause this trouble?

The usual causes are:

1. Misbehaving add-in.

2. Corrupted Normal.dotm.

3. Corrupted registry entry (usually the Data key).

Try reregistering Word in Windows. From Start, Run (Winkey+R), type in

winword /r

and press enter. Test again.
