Word 2007: normal.dotm exclamation mark

When I close Word 2007 regularly, it crashes with the error "Word has
stopped working. Close the program". Deleting the normal.dotm does not
help, the fresh normal.dotm again has the same yellow exclamation mark
in the file icon. Disabling templates or COM-addins does not help
either. What may be wrong? Thanks, Sven
