Word 2007 Printing layout

Alex Veilleux

I have 4 computers, two are in network (ie internet access). The problem is
that when I print from Word 2007 printed characters are sometimes glued or
compressed against each other. instead take a line width of the page it is
printed on 2-3 cm (so all the letters are one above the other). Just close
the word document and reopen it to print properly. The computer are each a
different printer connected (2 hp, 1 cannon and a samsung).
I try to reinstall Office
I updated the printer driver to latest version
I install the service pack 1 for Office
I did the windows update
as a last resort I format and reinstall one of 4 computer with a Windows CD
and office different.
I specify that this computer does not have access to the Internet and the
user is not local administrator (can install other software).
I uninstalled Office 2007 and install Office 2003. since the problem has
never been reproduced on this post. but i want the latest office version.
It's appear that the problem occur on old document (created with office 2003)

Thank you for your help

Its usually the result of a bad printer driver - HP are particularly
renowned for this. Check the drivers are all up to date.

Does this happen when printing to the Windows Default printer or only when
switching to a non-default printer before printing?
