Word 2007 Spell Checking

Recently, Office 2007 was installed on my computer and now the spell
checker does not work. Does anyone know what is the name of the
standard dictionary and where it is supposed to be installed?

Hello Chris,

versions differ variously from PC versions. Although several people here use
both PCs and Macs and may give you an answer soon, it's likely that more
