Hi

With the pdf addin installed (no problems there), when save as pdf, all the
table borders/lines, heading lines etc vary in weight even though I've been
through every line and formatted the style and size twice.

Some show correct (3/4 pt size) while others show as 1 or 1 1/2pt size (or as
though there's a shadow which of course there can't be).

The word 2007 doc looks as I want it. I've tried other pdf printers and the
result is the same (although each trial produces the lines different each
time - left line thin then left line thick).

I've tried saving the file for 2003 compatibility since these reports did not
show this problem when using Adobe Pro (ver 6, 7 & 8) with 2003 office
desktop, but the problem remains.

All the type, diagram graphs and pie charts are not affected (which have a
border line around the pie and graphs).

The tables are not imported from the previous 2003 word file, the document
has been created new in word 2007.

Using a similar 2003 doc report in compatibility mode and then saving as pdf
keeps the original format - keeps the weight required and as formatted.

Can anyone please advise what I need to do to have the pdf created as the
2007 original word doc. These reports must be pdf'd from word since a) prior
to pdf'ing the report requires editing by non-technical people who only know
and have word & b) when complete they are uploaded to client web accts for
easy opening/downloading.

Since the pies are within a text box for positioning reasons and the graphs
are also originally from an excel 2007 sheet and have no border or line
problems, I may try to produce the charts from within exel and import them.

But any suggestions of what to try will be appreciated.

I've a pile of reports backing up due to this problem so please help ASAP

Thanks, Liam
