word 2007 why cant I see pictures and clip art in my document?

Is there an easy fix to be able to see my clip art and inserted pictures in
my document instead of a blank box? Thank you so much in advance!!!!

In Office button > Word Options > Advanced, scroll to the Show
Document Content section and uncheck "Show picture placeholders".

If the pictures also don't print, go to the Display tab of the options
dialog and check "Print drawings created in Word".

That was already checked???? it prints fine, I just cant see the pictures and
Im doinga picture book and its impossible to do without seeing them as I
work.

What was already checked? The "picture placeholders" option should be
*un*checked to show the pictures.
