Word 2007

I have recently downloaded the trial version of Office 2007. I opened a
document that I had already made in another program and word will not let me
do anything to it, I cannot add to it, copy it, or edit it in any way. Can
someone please help me!

So tell us the name of this secret program the document was made in - does
the Title bar say "Read Only" when you open this document?
