I word 2008 there is only 'statistic' chioice, in the bottom toolbar. Is there a means to have it as in word 2004 ( line, column, etc) or in word 2007 ( pop up) ?
Unfortunately, No. This is something that has caused a lot of comments. It
would be most useful if you'd use the Help> Send Feedback in Word to make
your voice heard on the matter... The more who do so the more likely those
important bits are to added in a future update.
