Word 2008 with Spaces and Two Monitors

Hi All,

Anyone have this problem. I am running Word 2008 on Leopard using
Spaces and MacBook Pro. I have two monitors, providing two
workspaces. When I use Word full screen on the laptop monitor, I have
no problem with Spaces. When I use Word full screen on the second
monitor, it collapses when I switch to application in another Space.
It returns to my laptop monitor and only fills about a quarter of the
screen.

Best,

Jeff

Hi Jeff:

Yeah, everyone's having problems with Spaces. Which version of Mac OS are
you running? There was an Apple patch to try to help this problem, and
there will be another.

Cheers

I'm having a problem with Word 2008 docxs with just one monitor. When I track something to a new space, it often snaps back. Docxs in notebook view seem to be a particular problem. Very frustrating.

Office 2008 is not yet compatible with Spaces. Apple (and Microsoft) are
working on the problem. I guess one or the other or both will issue a patch
when they get it fixed.

In the meantime, you will get some strange effects.
