Word 2011 Crashes Every Time I Quit

Every time I try to quit Word (version 14.2.3), the program crashes. I am using a Mac Pro running Mac OS 10.8.3.

Any suggestions on how to fix this annoying problem?

What's the crash? Some Mac programs don't deal well with the new
versioning feature of MacOS 10.7 and later. Somewhere in a preference
pane, you can turn it off. Try googling for this.
