My document contains several heading style levels. The first two levels are references throughout the document.

The first heading style appears as upper case roman numbers: ARTICLE I

I would like to have a reference code ("REF") to the first level appear as 1 (an Arabic number, even though the source is a Roman number), and without the word "ARTICLE."

Using the switch "t", gives just the number, but still uses a roman number. This is how my code currently looks: {REF \*Arabic "0.0" \r \h \t} Note: *Arabic isn't having any affect

I would very much appreciate any help!

This is the third forum you've asked this question in - after it's already been answered - and after you were reminded of the expected cross-posting etiquette at BOTH of the other forums.

Cross-posting at multiple forums isn't going to change the answer. Not even acknowledging the answer you've already been given is just plain rude...
