Is Word 97 compatiable with Windows 2000 ?

When I load Word, in less than a minute, the program will
freeze and in the task manager it has the program as not
responding.
Is this an issue with Word 97 and Windows 2000 ?
Is there someway to use Word 97 and 2000 ?

I used them together successfully for a while, until I got a copy of Word
2000.

word 97 is configured to run appropriately on a fat32
platform. but when you add in 2000, it will definately
have a hard time, only because of the NTFS securities that
are involved withit.

with the word 2000 you are able to save the file type to
word 97, or have it operate similar to word97, but as far
as it operating with it, it has a hard time.

hope that helped.
