word 97 documents hang when reach at page 3 (out of 9 pages)

I faced problem where, my document in word 97 hang after reach at certain
page (at page 3 out of 9 pages). I did restart the PC but same problem still
happen.

Maggie your document: Cut and Paste everything except the last
paragraph mark in each section to a new document.
