word 97 problem solved

Hi suzanne and Terry,

If you remember I had a problem converting a document to html. I got that
solved by un-installing office 97 then deleting the textconv folder. Then I
re-installed office. Now I don't get the text converter is older then this
version. I can now save a file as html. I can now work on updating my web
page.

I am still having a problem getting office updated to sr2 but I hope to
figure this one out also. thanks again for being there when we need you.

Hi,

I spoke to soon. I can now save a document as an html file but now I can't
bring it back into word. I get an error saying that the registry can't find
a file. I don't know the exact error. If necessary I can make a note of it
and post it. I'm so close but yet so far. Any help would be appreciated.

Make sure that Service Release 1 for Office 97 is installed first before
attempting to install Service Release 2, a link to it can be found on the
same page of the Service Release 2 download.
