Word 97 red type with strikeout

While speed typing an endnote I pressed some darn
combination of keys and now all my text is red and has a
line through it! How do I turn it off? Many thanks!

Seems like you have toggled on Track Changes and everything is marked as
deleted. Turn on the Reviewing Toolbar and choose the REJECT all changes
option and then toggle off Track Changes. I believe if you hit Accept All
changes it will probably delete everything.
