Hope I'm in the right place for this question.
My operating system is Win98 SE with WORD 97. My problem
is that whenever I try to open a .doc file from "My
Documents" into WORD 97, I get this pop-up message:
Cannot find the file "C:\My Documents\_____.doc
(or one of its components). Make sure the path
and file name are correct and that all required
libraries are available.
OK
If I click the "OK" button and then click on the same .doc
file, it opens beautifully. But I would like not to have
to continue with this double duty routine.
How do I find out which "path" and "required libraries"
are needed with WORD 97? Also, am I right in assuming
that "required libraries" are a .dll file?
Any and all help is welcome.
