Word 98 Address Book to Entourage 2001

Is there a way of extracting information that had previously been stored in
the Address book feature of Word 98 so that it can be imported into
Entourage 2001?

Thanks

Diane answered this question yesterday. To expand a bit: Word 98 does not
have its own Address Book - it uses the Address Book in Outlook Express 5.
So if you go to File/Import in Entourage and choose to import from Outlook
Express, and choose just Contacts, you'll be importing the Address Book
you're looking for.

The actual data is in the Main Identity (or whatever it may have been
renamed to) folder in Identities folder of the Microsoft User Data folder
you were using before. Usually that folder is in the root Documents folder
on your hard disk (not the one in your OS X user if you are in OS X), but if
you've been using OE in Jaguar you may have transferred it to your OS X user
Documents in the meantime. You will have to point to the Identities folder,
or better to the the Main Identity folder within it. [NOTE: This is NOT the
Office X Identities folder, just "Identities" folder.] The importer may
also ask you to find OE itself, which should still be somewhere on your
Application (Mac OS 9) folder.
