Word 98 issues

I am using a ibook with Tiger.

Everytime in Word98 I elect the Letter wizard I receive a "RunTime error
5981" visual basic error message. No other wizard I have tested gives me
this messsage. Does anyone else receive this error?

Hi John:

"Run-time error 5981: Could not open macro storage" has a variety of causes.

Make sure you have Visual Basic for Applications actually INSTALLED. Check
on your CD and make sure it has been installed.

Make sure the Letter Wizard you are using is actually a Macintosh Word 98
version of the thing. If you are running one from any of the PC flavours of
Word, it indeed won't work

Personally, I never bother with the Letter Wizard. Simply save the Letter
Template of your choice as a template, then customise it with your name and
address. Then when you want to write a letter, just create a new document
from your own template: it's far quicker and easier than fiddling around
with that silly wizard
