WORD 98 ON MAC SYSTEM

when i want to save a file in word,i pull down the file
menu, but i not long see the option of"save or save as."
intead of"save or save as"i now see the word"versions."in
outher words,"versions have replace"save or save as."
i can no long save decuments to a particular file
