Word always crashes after a cut and paste from another doc

My Word seems to always be crashing after I cut and paste from other document
or from an email.

I then get the 'do you want to debug message' and Word closes.

Note that despite the fact that this is named "Problems Opening Word," it's
really much broader than that. Some of the same issues that can prevent Word
from opening properly can cause other problems as well, such as what you're
seeing.
